Abstract Paper Nintendo 64 Controller

About 18 hours. You'd never think cutting out little pieces of paper would take so long.
slightly smaller than a real N64 controller

products used: illustration board, foam core, stucco, gesso

The project was to make an abstract version of the previous object.
The controller is meant to be "complex" and "mechanical" opposed to simple and smooth because of its simplistic nature and intentions, yet intense impact it's had on my life and others'. Made it to be the opposite of the original - complicated on the outside, instead of on the inside like that of a real controller.
The buttons don't exist, or rather they're concave because no matter how much you press the buttons of "life" or toggle its joystick, you're still going to be pooped out where life wants you to be. Or some such artistic mumbo.

This time I got a B, because I had a slightly better understanding of the smoothness required in the pieces.
